Tired

I'm counting the raindrops,
Time's ticking away,
Seems I'm staring' at my life through a veil.

I'm counting the pieces
Of the jigsaw of my life,
Some misplaced pieces I can't find

   I'm too tired to run, too tired to hope,
   I'm tired of waiting' for something that won't come,
   I'm too tired to cry, too tired to fight,
   I'm tired of searching' for the reason why.

I take a look in the mirror,
The child is grown,
All these childhood dreams are gone.

I'm counting the teardrops,
Dreams melting away,
The colours inside are getting pale,
   Little by little I'm dying away.
